The next tour I went on is pretty famous in Sao Miguel, and is called the Caldeira Das Sete Cidades. There is a legend about two lakes sitting side by side, one blue and one green. You get to witness the legend and it indeed is true. Also, the view from the top is awesome.

Caldeira Velha

Caldeira Velha

The last place I visited while in Sao Miguel was the Caldeira Velha. This is considered a natural wonder because of the natural spring where many choose to swim. The natural spring gets it's water from a beautiful waterfall within. In order to reach the spring, you must walk through what feels like a jungle. The "jungle" smells so exotic and was amazing to see the way nature takes its form.
